The Big XII Council on Black Student Government

I delivered one of six keynotes during the 43rd Annual Big XII Conference on Black Student Government, on a line up that included Dr. Stevie “Dr. View” Johnson, sports agent Nicole Lynn, activist icon Angela Davis, community advocate LaVonya Bennet, and actress and advocate “King” Amiyah Scott. My keynote empowered 700 attendees to focus on what their communities need, and not worry about being called “unreasonable” for advocating for it. Many of our favorite pioneers and civil rights advocates were called “unreasonable”. We should consider ourselves in good company.
