RYLEAD: Building a capacity for diversity, equity, and inclusion in leadership

Dallas, Texas (via Hopin) | February 7, 2021

Each year, Rotary International’s District 5810 hosts Camp RYLA, a week-long leadership development camp for rising high school seniors. When COVID-19 prevented RYLA from happening in person, the program pivoted to a virtual format to continue to develop servant leadership in a new generation of students. I presented a workshop that provided foundational ideas to springboard participants into a greater understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion and discovering tangible ways to incorporate them into individual leadership practices.
