Didi Hirsch & Alive together

Since 1942, Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services has provided free mental health, substance use disorder and suicide prevention services to more than 150,000 children and adults throughout Los Angeles and Orange County each year in communities where stigma or poverty limits access to help.

Like many events during the first two years of the pandemic, Didi Hirsch’s annual fundraiser, Alive Together, had been canceled for safety reasons. In 2021, they tapped CAP SOC to not only assist in revamping the event but to drive increases in registrations and donations. As the brand manager for the account at the time, I coordinated Didi Hirsch’s evergreen social media content and led the creation of the event’s social media messaging and social media toolkit, which was used by registrants, supporters, and a team of celebrity influencers. The event garnered 649 participants from the US, France, Asia, and Australia, 1.1 million impressions, 29k engagements, 3200 followers, and over $448k in donations.
